Ben's making it big at last

HE IS nearly 30 but Leigh’s Ben Reynolds has finally arrived as a Super League player and silenced the knockers.

The stand-off has spent the bulk of his career in the second tier, only flirting with the top flight.

He managed two games with Castleford in 2013 and 2014 after coming through their academy.

Reynolds then played the bulk of Leigh’s Super League season in 2017 but they were relegated.

He had a smattering of appearances with Wakefield two years later and then just 10 when Leigh had another shot at the big time in 2021 before another demotion.

But just like Leigh, the silky playmaker is nailing it this time around.

The Yorkshireman has been a mainstay of a promoted Leopards side flying high in second ahead of facing St Helens in Saturday’s Challenge Cup semi-final.
