YOUNG Brits are snubbing traditional pies like steak and kidney, sending sales crashing, a report reveals.

Supermarkets say they have seen a drop of 4.6%, the equivalent of 42million fewer pies, in the past year alone.

Young adults have been switching to trendier and healthier snacks.

The Grocer magazine said: "Pies and savory pastries have a problem: people who eat them are dying off.
