Silva desperate to window shop like the Gunners boss

MARCO SILVA says Arsenal succeeded where Fulham have so far failed in this summer’s transfer market.

And the Cottagers manager insists his club have no choice but to play catch-up and splash the cash before the end of the window next week.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta signed Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz early enough for all three to start the season.

But Fulham are still scrambling to add to a threadbare squad which lost eight players this summer – and Silva says time is running out.
