LIVERPOOL got their teenage kicks at Wembley to win the Carabao Cup- and leave a crushed Mauricio Pochettino still waiting for his first trophy in English football.
In a remarkable game, Virgil van Dijk headed the winner in extra time to become Liverpool's oldest-ever scorer in a Wembley final at the age of 32.
But this incredible triumph was more about the new than the old.
Because somehow Liverpool managed to beat Chelsea with three teenagers finishing the game who had made just 15 appearances between them.
The most in a final since Arsenal back in 2007.
One of them, Jayden Danns, only made his debut last week, while Liverpool also ended the clash with two more aged just 20.
Who was it who said that you don't win anything with kids? And the irony will not be lost on Chelsea, who ultimately paid the price for some schoolboy finishing to leave Pochettino crestfallen.
The Blues have now lost their last six domestic finals, while Pochettino's wait for silverware on these shores goes on and on.
