Tony Bennett 1926-2023
ICONIC crooner and “master of the American songbook” Tony Bennett has died aged 96.
Dubbed “the best singer in the business” by late pal Frank Sinatra, the pop and jazz legend passed away yesterday, his publicist Sylvia Weiner confirmed.
The cause of death was not revealed but Bennett had been battling Alzheimer’s for seven years.
