GARETH SOUTHGATE has been told he must pick Kobbie Mainoo in his next England squad.
Mainoo has burst onto the scene with Manchester United this season to become one of their most consistent players.
The teenage sensation is being hailed as one of the next superstars of English football.
And while former United star Dimitar Berbatov doesn't want the media to build him up too much too soon, he does reckon the midfielder is worth a place in the Three Lions squad.
Southgate will name his 23-man squad next month ahead of friendlies against Brazil and Belgium, and has been keeping close tabs on Mainoo.
