CALLS by the King’s space adviser to send robots into orbit instead of humans have been rejected by Nasa’s top medic.

Lord Martin Rees, the UK’s Astronomer Royal, reckons robots are better equipped than humans to explore space because they do not have physical or mental health concerns.
