HUDDERSFIELD is no substitute for Hollywood – but Kevin Nagle is dreaming of his own epic blockbuster featuring Neil Warnock after taking over the Terriers.
The American businessman already owns US second-tier side Sacramento Republic and his purchase of Championship outfit Huddersfield was completed last week.
The deal saw Town become the 26th club in the English football pyramid to have American investment and came via an approach from managing director Dave Baldwin.
Nagle’s first job was to persuade 74-year-old Warnock, who kept the club up last season and has won a record eight English managerial promotions, to stay on for one more year.
The Terriers yesterday released the first episode of their new docuseries ‘Up The Town’, following in the footsteps of Wrexham, who have enjoyed a dramatic rise under Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
