FRIENDLY beavers are saving Britain from ecological disaster, experts reckon.
The return of the semi-aquatic rodents is helping to repair nature, according to the RSPB.
Beavers returned to Loch Lomond, Scotland, this year while water voles made a shock comeback in Cumbria.
They boost wetland habitats which support more types of wildlife and help in the fight against climate change and species loss.
