MAURICIO POCHETTINO admitted he was surprised Ben Chilwell started both England games during the international break.
The Chelsea left-back went away on Three Lions duty after only being deemed fit enough to make a late substitute appearance in their FA Cup win against Leicester following a knee injury.
And Chilwell is now a concern again for the Blues after returning with a fresh knee issue after suffering a late injury in England’s draw against Belgium.
Chelsea boss Pochettino said: “It was a situation that he started two games. Maybe it’s a surprise for us.
“If he cannot play for us or be available, and because he didn’t play after Brentford with us, he only played a few minutes against Leicester in the FA Cup.
