Man Assaults 2 Sisters for ₹10 in Bharatpur

Two sisters were allegedly assaulted by their landlord after they refused to give him a share of a payment of ₹40 received after selling their crop residue in Bharatpur district of the state, police said on Sunday.
BHARATPUR:
According to girls’ father, Karan Thakur, the incident took place in Peepla village in Bharatpur’s Chiksana area on Saturday, when his daughters, 17 years and 19 years, went to the field to assist their mother in threshing mustard crops.
