HODGSON GETS HOSPITAL PASS

ROY HODGSON revealed he was rushed to hospital last week after becoming ill and was forced to listen to Crystal Palace's defeat at Aston Villa on the radio.

Palace lost 3-1 but a video link to the game did not work and the frustrated boss had to tune in via the radio.

Hodgson, whose team face his old side Fulham today, was fit and back at work this week, but admitted: "It was frustrating and disappointing.
