Bannon reaches out to pal with support
DERMOT Bannon has contacted Ryan Tubridy to offer support amid his shock RTE exit but said he has no interest in taking over his job.
Following a turbulent year for RTE and its top presenter, director general Kevin Bakhurst announced there were currently no plans for Tubridy to return to his Radio 1 show, which has been rebranded The Nine O'Clock Show.
