Netanyahu confirms he greenlighted Lebanon pager attacks

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has acknowledged that he "okayed" the deadly pager attacks on Hezbollah strongholds in Lebanon, which resulted in nearly 40 deaths and 3,000 injuries, many of them among Iran-backed Hezbollah members.

Netanyahu's admission came on Sunday, as his spokesperson, Omer Dostri, confirmed to AFP that the operation was authorized by the Israeli government.
