Saatvik Green files papers for an IPO

Saatvik Green Energy has S filed a draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the market regulator for an initial public offering (IPO) as it seeks to raise capital for setting up a solar module manufacturing plant and repay debt.
The company is looking to raise up to ₹l,150 crore via a mix of fresh issue and an offer for sale (OF S) by the promoters, according to the DRHP filed with the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares with a face value of ₹2 each, aggregating to ₹850 crore. Pramod Kumar and Sunila Garg, the promoters ofthe company, will be offloading their stake via the OFS worth around ₹300 crore.
