We have a nine-race meeting on the Turffontein Standside track tomorrow and the headliner is the Grade 3 4Racing Sycamore Sprint for fillies and mares over 1160m.
There is a full field of 16 runners and the event, Race 7, looks highly competitive, but we will see the likes of Almond Sea and Poblano taking on each other again.
I have seven carded rides on the day, and I'll be hoping to be as competitive as possible.
Race 1 is a Maiden Juvenile Plate over 1100m and I ride Wall Street, a nicely bred colt who I'll be hoping can run into the money. However, we all have One Fine Winter to beat and she is my best bet on the card as it will take a phenomenal unraced horse to beat her.
Her debut run was a superb effort in a feature race and she is going to be very hard to beat.
For the best guide to the chances of the unraced runners, watch the betting and as well as the canter past.
Race 2 is a Maiden Juvenile Plate over 1100m and I ride Hot Cocoa. Once again, she looks to be a very well-bred filly, so I'll be hoping for the best.
Again, my advice is to watch the betting and the canter past for your best guide to the unraced horses.
Of the raced runners, Tina Lovelace sets the standard in a big way again and will take all the beating. She ran a phenomenal race in the feature and a repeat of that will see her prove hard to beat.
Opera Fan ran a very good second race and she looks the main danger.
Race 3 is a Maiden Plate over 1600m for and I make Apache Chief one of the best bets on the card and a banker in all bets.
His form is by far the best and this is the perfect opportunity for him to shed his maiden tag.
