The Free Press Journal - Bhopal|January 10, 2025

Neeta Senacha

It transcends gender, age, and ethnicity, making it one of the most prevalent dermatological issues globally. Often perceived as a cosmetic nuisance, acne's manifestations vary, from blackheads and whiteheads to painful cysts, and can significantly impact one's self-esteem and quality of life. However, it's important to recognize that acne is not solely a surface concern; it often signals deeper health-related factors such as hormonal imbalances, dietary choices, and even stress levels. Understanding the various types of acne and their potential health connections empowers individuals to take a holistic approach to skincare and overall well-being. Today, we will look at various types of acne that may be trying to tell you about your health and how to treat them:

Acne on the forehead is often linked to digestive issues. It may suggest that your diet includes too many sugary or processed foods, and you may not be consuming enough water or fiber. Consider cutting back on sugary treats and processed foods while increasing your intake of water and fruits and vegetables. Additionally, a gentle exfoliating cleanser and topical treatments containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide can help manage forehead acne.
