Congratulations Argyle! Now it's our turn for a promotion!
The Herald|May 06, 2023
FIRST of all, I would like to start by congratulating all at Plymouth Argyle, both on and off the pitch, on their massive success in gaining promotion from League One into the Championship last weekend
Congratulations Argyle! Now it's our turn for a promotion!

What a party that must have been! Steven Schumacher's Pilgrims have been going from strength to strength under chairman Simon Hallett, and I hope they continue with said success throughout the Championship. It's fantastic for Britain's Ocean City and here's to hoping that, one day, we will be joining them in Rugby's Championship.

Home Park was not the only stadium rocking last weekend as records were broken by our very own Red Roses, when they defeated the French 38-33 in front of a recordbreaking attendance of 58,498, which saw them winning the Six Nations grand slam at Twickenham.

The French did not give the Roses an easy ride, as both teams played right up until the final whistle giving the crowd a fantastic game of rugby to watch.
