The club has embarked on a bid to raise £30,000 for new training facilities at The Ring, their iconic ground high on Dartmoor.
They have received a pledge of £15,000 from Sport England, but only if they can match-fund that themselves within 60 days, and so are now frantically pulling together fundraising efforts.
Their Crowdfunder page has gone a step further than merely asking for donations by offering everything from coaching by their star player to tickets in prize draws and an offer to wash people's cars.
Coach Ben Neale and two players are also taking part in the Tavy 5K race today in their cricket gear, which they hope will drive sponsorship and raise more money.
The clubhouse at The Ring has been extended in recent years, but it is the nets crucial to any coaching programme which are in need of updating.
