Amongst that mammoth total was a checkout of 151 that was the best finish of both the contest - and week across all fixtures.
Team-mate Shaun Dring added the only maximum of the match-up and made himself the hero with a 3-1 individual win that came when throwing last with the scores tied at 5-5.
Stevenson's 3-1 triumph over Dave Lee saw legs of 18, 17 and 12 darts for the victor, whilst Lee's solitary riposte was put away in just 14 darts as Lee finished his innings on ten tons overall.
Nick Miller helped himself to a 14-darter in a 3-0 triumph, whilst the best checkout from the defeated team came from the arm of Steve Mills at the first time of asking from 90.
The dominant Octagon were 10-1 winners at Cherry Tree C and had John Mann at his majestic best with 15 scores of a ton or more.
Mann was supported by Lee Hellings who nailed one of the four maximums and a 109 checkout on his way to 11 ton-plusses.
Neil White was also in good nick with ten three-figure visits, whilst the other 180s in the game went to the trio of Paul Palmer, Alfie Ford and Fred Goldsmith.
In the team phase of play, the visitors from Stonehouse took all but one of the first five points with the best effort coming from White and Palmer with a 21-dart 601 doubles leg.
Mann (25.38) started the individual section of the draw with a 3-2 triumph over 11 ton hitter Frankie Stout, which saw Mann plunder legs in 13 and 18 darts.
Palmer was a 3-0 winner thanks in part to his 15-darter before Ford came through a tough test 3-2 thanks to what turned out to be a crucial 17 dart leg.
Hellings continued the barrage of points with a 3-0 win that contained a leg in 18 before White and Goldsmith also provided 3-0 successes with 17 and 16-darters in their respective victories.
