STEVEN Schumacher has revealed how another injury setback for Plymouth Argyle defender Brendan Galloway has further delayed his return to action.
The Zimbabwe international has had to deal with several fitness issues since joining the Pilgrims in the summer of 2021 and he missed the end of last season due to a hamstring injury which required surgery.
Galloway continued his rehabilitation throughout pre-season as he and another Pilgrims' defender, Macaulay Gillesphey, recovered from operations. At one stage, Schumacher thought Galloway would be back in contention before Gillesphey but that has not turned out to be the case.
