PLYMOUTH Argyle have called upon England assistant Steve Holland to help them prepare for the Papa Johns Trophy final against Bolton Wanderers at Wembley.
Argyle director of football Neil Dewsnip was assistant manager at semi-pro side Northwich Victoria when Holland had a short spell as a player there.
Holland and Dewsnip later became colleagues at The Football Association working as coaches with England age group teams.
Dewsnip was able to get some valuable insight from Holland ahead of just Pilgrims' third-ever visit to Wembley and share it with manager Steven Schumacher.
"Steven wants to keep preparation as close as possible to every game we have played this season, and I think that's very sensible," Dewsnip said.
