STEVEN Schumacher will be super proud’ to lead out Plymouth Argyle on the biggest stage of all’ for the Papa Johns Trophy final against Bolton Wanderers on Sunday.
Schumacher admitted there would be some butterflies too, but wants his side to be positive in their approach and put a performance in that their 38,500 supporters at the national stadium can be proud of.
There has been a real buzz in the build-up to the final, not only among the Green Army but also around the whole of Plymouth too as the Pilgrims chase what would be a historic cup and promotion double this season.
Schumacher said: Walking around the city has been crazy the last couple of days, everyone wishing you well and everyone is just dead excited for it.
“That has come into my thinking as well about the team selection, the style and what we are going to try and do.
