Parkway determined to finish as high as possible

PLYMOUTH Parkway manager Lee Hobbs is determined to finish as high as he can as the club bring the curtain down on a gruelling campaign at home to Bracknell Town tomorrow

The Yellows have certainly had it tough in the second half of the campaign, playing two games a week virtually since the turn of the year and if results go their way, they could finish as high as eighth, with a win this weekend.

Ground tenants Truro City will also be hoping Parkway can win and do them a favour as they try and clinch second place, which would guarantee them a home play-off final - if they were to win their semifinal clash.

Speaking before his side played North Leigh last night – who they could have relegated with a win – Hobbs reflected on a challenging first year in the Premier Division, but one he has learnt plenty from.

“We won’t be doing anyone any favours, the only favours we will be doing is for us,” Hobbs said. “As I have said from day dot is that our agenda is to finish as high as we possibly can within this league and for integrity reasons, I think that’s fair.
