Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series team member Aidan Heslop, 21, jumped from a building in the former naval victualling yard.
The jump, measuring approximately 21 metres, was more than twice as high as the Olympic diving boards Tom Daley uses. In order to pull off the dive successfully, Aidan needed to clear a gap of more than two metres between the bottom of the building to the water.
He was successful in performing a double half, triple half, flying front, flying reverse and running double half dive, but it should be no surprise to anyone who has followed the youngster’s very bright career.
