Make in India Is Working, Believe in It: Sitharaman

BRUSHING aside the opposition criticism of the 'Make in India' programme, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday said the scheme is yielding "good results" as the government has taken multiple steps to strengthen the manufacturing sector, including defence production.
"Believe in Make in India. It is giving you results," the finance minister said while replying to a debate on the supplementary demands for grants and Manipur budget in the Rajya Sabha.
