New Delhi: Tuesday (July 5) was a particularly bad day for Indian carriers, with at least five incidents known so far. While three of the known incidents were on SpiceJet, Vistara saw one and IndiGo had a suspected snag. A SpiceJet Boeing 737 MAX flying from Delhi to Dubai had to be diverted to Karachi due to a suspected fuel system snag. Another SpiceJet B737, a freighter flying from Kolkata to Chongqing, China, had to return to origin soon after takeoff because “weather radar was not showing the weather”. And a SpiceJet Q400 flying from Kandla to Mumbai made a priority landing at the destination after its windshield outer pane cracked. All three landed safely.
