Hyderabad: With incessant rains wreaking havoc and IMD warning of heavy rains in Telangana in the next 2-3 days, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday put the administration on high alert.
Gearing up officials to be prepared to face any eventuality, the CM warned that the Godavari river will again be in spate from Sunday onwards following heavy rains. He asked the officials to minimise loss of lives and damage to properties as the rains are likely to lash the state till August.
