London: It’s everything to play for in Group D, with just two points separating top-place Tottenham and Marseille at the bottom. Those two teams face each other in France on Tuesday, while Sporting Lisbon host Eintracht Frankfurt.
A draw will be enough to see Tottenham qualify but all the teams in the group know a win will ensure qualification. Tottenham travel to face Marseille in their final group game of the Champions League with hopes of securing their qualification.
Spurs lead a group that is only separated by two points from top to bottom with all teams still able to make it through to the last 16. Antonio Conte’s side thought they had secured their place in the knockout stages last time out after Harry Kane smashed in a late goal.
However, the winner was ruled out for offside and Conte would be sent off for his reaction, with the Italian now banned from any contact with his team on matchday.
Opponents Marseille are bottom of the group and were beaten by Frankfurt last week but the French side can still qualify with a win at the Orange Velodrome.
