Fears Iran may make base target

FEARS are mounting that conflict in the Middle East conflict could spill onto British soil next, with Iran warning it may soon begin to attack UK-based targets.

Iran’s ambassador to London Seyed Ali Mousavi said any UK bases tied to US military operations could fall within range if tensions continue to escalate. American forces have already used RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire and RAF Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean to launch strikes on Iran since last month.
