The Vivo X90 Pro, also known as V2219, was launched in India in the last week of April, 2023. In this review, we will mainly talk about its camera capabilities.
Design & Build Quality
Adorned in legendary black, the Vivo X90 Pro smartphone is co-engineered with the world famous German lens designer, Zeiss. The smartphone looks elegant and has an aluminium alloy frame. The back is covered in vegan leather for a good grip. A circular projection at the back houses the four cameras. The phone measures 164.07x74.53x9.34 mm at its thickest point and weighs 214.85 g. The phone is IP-68 rated against dust and water spray and is made in India.
Key Features
At the heart of the X90 Pro is an eight-core Media Tek Dimensity 9200 5G mobile processor. The phone offers 12 GB RAM with a storage capacity of 256 GB and runs on Funtouch OS 13 (based on Android 13). A professional Imaging & Display chip - the V2 - works together with the phone's main chip, thus enhancing the imaging as well as performance capabilities. The X90 pro is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 4870 mAh battery that is capable of fast charging with the supplied 120W Dual-Cell FlashCharge adapter (Model: V12060HOCO-IN). The 120W FlashCharge has two charging modes-Rapid and Balanced. The X90 series applies 24 Dimension Security Protection against electrical current, voltage, phone temperature and more. The phone can also be charged using a 50W wireless FlashCharge adapter.
The screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass panel and uses a capacitive touch AMOLED display, measured diagonally, at approx. 17.22 mm (6.78") with a Refresh Rate up to 120 Hz. Screen resolution is 2800x1260 (FHD+).
