What's it like?

On a wintry Monday night, I pass several empty dining rooms in Mayfair - diners no doubt curled up on sofas at home instead. That is, until I reach the buzzy new hotspot Fonda, where the heat has been turned up to warm your soul and stomach.

Tucked down Heddon Street, away from chaotic Regent Street, is the new Mexican restaurant from chef Santiago Lastra – co-owner of London’s Michelin-starred KOL.
