Let The Alventure Begin

Singapore is as balmy as I remember it from the last time around. As I whizz past the towering skyscrapers and make my way to the famed Sentosa Island, I can almost sense a dip in the temperature owing to the green cover. I’m headed to Resorts World Sentosa Singapore, often referred to as RWS, for Travel+Leisure India and South Asia’s cover shoot. While I meet up with our cover stars—Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem—later in the day, the crew is all set to explore Asia’s premium lifestyle destination resort for a quick recce.

Resorts World Sentosa Singapore, spans 49 hectares on the island and is home to world-class amenities. From exciting attractions, shows and rides, to its myriad unique luxury hotels and award-winning dining experiences, RWS is peppered with the best of the best. And it doesn’t take very long for its charm to rub off on our cover stars.

“I would 100 per cent pick RWS for a family vacation,” says Saqib. “It has everything there is to a holiday. I would come to RWS with my siblings and friends and spend some time. There is a certain vibe here, wherein you get to experience a lot of things in just one place. And I love a good casino,” he adds.

“This a great location, there is amazing hospitality, and everything is within walking distance. You don’t have to travel much, and I feel it’s great for families. I would love to bring my parents; they will enjoy it here,” adds Huma, in agreement.

Speaking of family, the siblings grew up in New Delhi and have fond memories of the city. “Growing up in Delhi was a lot of fun. Since everyone knew each other well, I ended up having breakfast at one place, lunch at another, and dinner at a third location. And the community vibe that I grew up with, made me the person I am today. Delhi is a beautiful, golden chapter in my life that I always keep close to my heart,” says Saqib.
