What inspired you to start House of Waris Botanicals, and how has its vision evolved over the years?
Our adventure in botanicals is an extension of what we started with House of Waris, which seems like so long ago now. An exploration of craftsmanship, of rituals, of sensorial pleasures. A non-traditional approach to business that seeks answers from the traditional. Whether it’s goldsmiths, herbalists, or weavers—they’re all artisans. In their hands is the wisdom of generations.
As we humans barrel into the future, we tend to place emphasis on all that is new, forgetting that the past holds truths that are still applicable today.
The brand is constantly evolving but anchored in the secrets of the time before. The path reveals itself; I just follow.
In the end, it’s a celebration of life, in all its glorious forms.
Your brand merges traditional craftsmanship with luxury. How do you balance heritage with contemporary and ever-evolving tastes?
We have spent decades searching for artisans in lands where craftsmanship is still alive. Places that very much respect products made by hand. We source the finest organic ingredients and materials and pair them with hands that work magic.
