Finding Your Personal Style

How many times have you opened your wardrobe and sighed? That dress doesn't fit well any more. That colour just doesn't suit. And that fabric is so unflattering! If you're a bit lost when it comes to how you dress, you're not alone. According to a study, on average we don't wear around 50% of our wardrobe. When it comes to rediscovering your style, London-based stylist and personal shopper Ilvina Asliamova (@ilvina_as on Instagram), has some quick hacks.

"Your personal style is an ongoing journey of self-expression," Ilvina explains. "By combining self-awareness, experimentation, and a touch of guidance via a personal shopper, you're well on your way to discovering a style that looks fantastic and reflects your individuality."

Accepting that you need to experiment is the first hurdle. "Be open to trying different styles, cuts and silhouettes. A style that feels foreign at first might surprise you with how well it suits you. Step outside your comfort zone!"
