My Health Tips

Jo Moseley has a passion for stand-up paddleboarding and all things wellbeing. We asked the Yorkshire lass (58) for her health secrets and why she loves paddleboarding so much...

◆ Tell us how you discovered stand-up paddleboarding (SUP).

In 2016 I set myself a challenge called Rain or Shine 30-half an hour of movement outside every day to strengthen my knee and lift my spirits. My first SUP lesson was part of that.

◆ What was it like when you tried it?

Oh, wonderful! The first time I tried it I knew it was something special. It was a grey, overcast day - inside it felt like sunshine. For the first time in months I felt like a warrior not a worrier.

◆ You've kept it up and have even written a book about the joys of SUP. How do you feel it benefits you?
