The Trouble With Ted...

Ted and Billie have a few relationship issues to iron out

My rabbit Ted, a rabbit so "not with it" it's been pointed out in two book titles, has lately been very busy. "Busy" and Ted are two words not generally located in the same sentence - apart from maybe "Ted was busy chewing hay" or "Ted was busy being unconscious" - but busy he has indeed been. Busy finding new ways to accidentally annoy his live-in-partner-girl-rabbit, Billie.

It all began with curly kale, as so many things in life do. I'd just washed vegetables for the rabbits and dropped them into a corner of their hutch. For once, Ted was the first to notice, mainly because Billie was asleep. Ambling over to his food delivery, he picked up a piece of curly kale in his mouth and sauntered back across the hutch, trailing the long, soaking wet kale across the sleeping Billie's face.
