She’d been living a relatively quiet life in Cornwall away from the public eye, instead focusing on writing her
novels in recent years. But that all changed when Fern Britton entered the famous Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this month.
Looking better than ever and clearly ready to be on our screens daily again, Fern, 66, hasn’t held back when it comes to expressing her feelings about her former This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield. The pair, who hosted the hit ITV show together for seven years, are said to have fallen out before Fern quit the show in 2009. But while she’s always remained tight-lipped about their rumoured feud, she admitted on CBB that she’d walk out if he entered the house. ‘Maybe he’s coming in as a surprise,’ she said. ‘I might have to leave at that point.’
So with the ever-popular Fern speaking out after staying silent and out of the spotlight for so long, perhaps she is finally (and hopefully) ready for an epic comeback.
