Those naked photos will haunt me FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE

When Gino D’Acampo is on the air, you never quite know what is going to happen. The cheeky Italian chef is known for his high-energy appearances, and hilarious quips and even has a tendency to get naked on live TV – so catching up with the 45-year-old star is always fun.

The father-of-three left Blighty a couple of months ago to spend summer in his native Italy, but he’s still working. Between filming for a new dating and cooking show mash-up, to launching an online cookery game, the Italian stallion has been one busy man.

Happily married to wife Jessica for 20 years, all is good in camp D’Acampo. And as he launches his new online game, Woman chats to him about happiness, parenting and those naked pictures.

You’re having a break, but do you have a good laugh working on This Morning?

It is so much fun, it’s like working with some of my best friends. I’ve been working on the show for 16 years and it’s one of those places where they let me say whatever I want, and it doesn’t feel like work for me. It’s like going down to the pub for a couple of hours.

You’ve appeared naked on the show. Do the photos of that follow you around?

Oh, God, yes. They are going to haunt me for the rest of my life. I really was completely naked, and some people don’t believe that. But Holly and Phil can vouch for it because they’ve seen it all.

Did you feel nervous about stripping off?

Get moving to beat that low mood

Look, I know it's November. The days are shorter (like our patience) and darker (like, sometimes, our mood) and moving our body gets pushed further down the must-do list. We hunker down and become insular.
