Chloe & Olivia - Their special Bond

Her only daughter Chloe has remembered her mother as her best friend and ‘an angel on earth’, telling fans she’ll love her forever

In July, Olivia Newton-John’s beloved daughter Chloe moved from her longtime home in Portland, Oregon, to be by her ailing mum’s side. Posting on Instagram on 24 July, model and singer Chloe, 36, spoke of her excitement to be heading south to Santa Ynez, California, where Olivia and her husband John Easterling owned a sprawling ranch.

In the end, the mother-daughter duo would only live together for two weeks, with Chloe there as her mum took her last breath on 8 August.

“You are my lighthouse, Mama,” Chloe wrote the day after Olivia passed. “My safe space. My heart space. It has been my honour, and continues to be my honour, to be your baby and best friend. You are an angel on earth and everyone touched by you has been blessed. I love you forever, my life-giver, my teacher, my mama.”

Chloe was born in 1986 during Olivia’s marriage to her Xanadu co-star Matt Lattanzi, whom she split from in 1995.
