Posters are back! Before we get to the stories headlining the July issue of evo India, we’re excited to announce the return of one of the best parts of collecting magazines. We’re starting with arguably the greatest poster car of this year — the Bugatti Tourbillon! We have a detailed story on the Tourbillon inside, plus a poster fit for your wall. And this is just the beginning! Expect more exclusive evo India posters over the coming months. Stay subscribed so you don’t miss out.
Back to the July ’24 issue — the magazine is headlined by the Porsche Taycan India relay. This was a record attempt of epic proportions, where a fleet of Taycans drove the Golden Quadrilateral to set the record for the fastest EV relay drive. It was a logistical challenge, tested our endurance (we didn’t stop for anything except car swaps!), and challenged the notion that India isn’t ready for performance electric cars.
We also reviewed the new Audi Q6 e-tron, Mustang GT, Mercedes-Benz EQA, and BMW i5 M60, plus the new Altroz Racer. On two wheels, we dive into the latest cross-country beast from BMW, the R 1300 GS, and explore the latest hottest metal, the Aprilia RS 457. We also head out for a fun day, pitting the Hilux against the Thar RWD and the Himalayan.
No issue of evo India is complete without road trips. First, we drive up the highest motorable pass in Arunachal with the Mercedes-Benz GLC. Next, we fired up some VWs and made our way to the Siachen base camp as part of the new VW Experiences. We were part of the AJAI Bharat Drive, heading to Arunachal in the Mahindra Scorpio N. Then we embarked on another Mahindra drive — the Monastery Escape to Ladakh. We didn’t forget about motorcycles — we rode the Triumph Scrambler 400X through the North East.
Are you in the market for a new car but finding prices too high? The first part of our used heroes series features the Maruti Suzuki Swift.
All this and much more in the July 2024 issue of evo India. Get yours now!
