A retired pro rider once gave me a lift. When his mobile rang, he picked it up and engaged in conversation as he continued driving. This is the world we live in. We are slaves to our phones. If even a man who made his living from riding his bike on UK roads cannot understand the dangers of using a phone while driving, how are we supposed to educate everyday motorists?
