Building Stacey David’s Rat Roaster
Stacey David’s “Rat Roaster” ‘32 Ford, after a couple of years of anticipation, has been released, and it doesn’t take but the act of lifting that cardboard lid to know right away that Revell had hit another home run with a kit that on the surface looks as good as the ‘32 Coupe and Roadster, but which comes loaded with a great deal of new parts. Plenty of thought went into this kit, and we are happy to say it shows.
Although this article wasn’t meant as a formal review of what’s in the kit, it is important to note the variety of great parts from the short fenders (front ones are just too cute and if you want them with a spine, easy enough to do with a strip of styrene half round) to the gorgeous guitar thrown in for good measure. The multitude of parts are a big plus, and so our Good Doctor immediately set out to answer the call of what is inside, as well as outside the box.
