Get some poultry for your garden they said! They’ll keep down the pests they said! They won’t do any damage they said! It will be an absorbing hobby they said! The absorbing hobby has turned into a passion for poultry and I’m not sure about the ‘pests’.
I’m not sure about the pests because it is difficult to see the slug eaten plants from the chicken eaten plants. I would amend the ‘don’t do any damage’ to the more accurate statement that if you choose your breed carefully and plan your garden then damage limitation is possible.
