NEARLY 10 YEARS AFTER HER DEVASTATING DIVORCE, SANDRA BULLOCK SPEAKS OUT ABOUT HER KIDS, HER CAREER AND FINDING LOVE AGAIN

It should have been the happiest time of her life. In early 2010, Sandra Bullock had just won an Academy Award for her unforgettable performance in The Blind Side and was quietly enjoying life as a new mom with her adopted son Louis. “Sandra felt like she had it all,” recalled an insider. “She couldn’t believe how lucky she was.”

But in March of that year, her entire world came crashing down when reports surfaced that her then-husband, Jesse James, had been carrying on an 11-month affair with a busty, tattooed model named Michelle “Bombshell” McGee — and that he’d been unfaithful with other women as well. “Sandra was incredibly hurt and completely embarrassed,” shares the insider. “She’d just gushed about Jesse at the Oscars, so for the public to watch her marriage suddenly collapse like that was extremely difficult. She didn’t know if she’d ever been able to move past it.”

It wasn’t easy, but she did. “It’s been almost a decade since the scandal, and Sandra can finally say she’s happy again,” the insider tells OK!, adding that the star spent years hiding the emotional side of what she went through. Now she’s finally decided to break her silence. “Sandra’s started opening up to friends about her divorce and the domestic bliss she’s since found with her boyfriend [photographer Bryan Randall, 53].” While her journey has been painful at times, the 55-year-old has made it clear to all her friends that she has no regrets. “My life took a trajectory that wasn’t very pleasant,” shared Sandra. “But I feel like it had to happen in order for me to fully understand what family was about. My life went the way it went because it was supposed to be that way.”
