Here Comes Trouble

Finn was introduced last summer as Steffy’s knight in shining armor, a handsome, dedicated, single doctor who not only nursed her back to health after her motorcycle accident but was pivotal in weaning her off painkillers during her subsequent opioid addiction. He was, in other words, exactly what Steffy needed to finally break the chains of her decade-long love triangle with Hope and Liam. In a year’s time, the pair fell in love, welcomed a son and tied the knot — so the timing was perfect for a major injection of dramatic chaos into their lives. The show came up with a doozy of a way to complicate their honeymoon period: revealing that Finn’s biological mother is legendary mega-villain Sheila Carter. This shocker will surely be a brutal test of Finn andSteffy’s union and is drenched in terrific story possibilities, filling in some of the blanks in Sheila’s missing years and (we hope!) reinvigorating the war between Sheila and the Forresters. It was a wise move to make Finn unaware of his DNA link to the woman who once “fatally” shot his new mother-in-law, Taylor, and we look forward to learning more about Finn as we watch him navigate the sudden twist of fate dealt to him by Sheila’s return.

Great use of history on Y&R to have Nikki and Victor attend a concert by Leslie Brooks (one of the show’s original characters) while on their trip to Europe.... We LOL’d when GH’s Britt ordered Jason to Venmo her $5 for the electric toothbrush head she bought for him to stay overnight before he dumped her.
