Design

We mentioned earlier about the small footprint of the Ecotank series, which means it can fit into an office without taking up so much space. With such a small footprint, no unnecessary space is wasted. The foldable cover and retractable tray opens up just enough to hold papers for print

The top of the printer has a lid which can be opened to look at the internals of the printer as well as the ink tank itself. Refilling the ink is pretty straight forward which requires you to lift the blue cover of the ink tank. Epson has uniquely designed the ink tank and its refill ink bottles to work in a lock and key manner. Thus, ink bottles that are not made for the M1120 will not be able to refill the ink tank.

There are five buttons sitting flushed on the printer. Although some buttons have familiar looking icons, there are no labels on the buttons to show what each button does. Not only do these buttons function individually, there are several “combo” pushes required to perform certain hidden functions. All these information are available on the manual which comes along with the printer.
