When she decided to move to India, Adhuna Bhabani only had scissors and a backpack. Born to be experimental, she decided to give a makeover of sorts to the concept of salon. BBlunt was, thus, born. Adhuna, who you will often spot sporting the bob cut, is acclaimed for her fashion sense, which she describes as eclectic. We second her. We went to great depths to discuss the long and short of her life, her career and her passion. Excerpts from the interview:

Take us through your journey of entrepreneurship.

My brother, Osh always wanted his own business. I always tell everyone that he wanted to cash in on my talent. Honestly we make a great team. Entrepreneurship always takes a lot of effort. Renting a property, handling other people — all these small details take up a lot of time. We managed by separating and demarcating our roles and responsibilities. Osh and I decided that I would take care of training and the creative side of things while he would handle logistics, and the business side of it. Everything worked out that way. We made our share of mistakes too, but the best part of this journey was learning and growing, and joining forces with Avan Contractor.

How did you come up with the name BBlunt?
