For the past year, with all the movement controls, we have been spending a lot more time at home (as you should when we are in the middle of a pandemic). With nowhere to go, I feel as though I’ve been constantly confronted by my closet and starting to wonder at the utter pointlessness of the overflowing, futile clothes sitting in it. The bevvies of beautiful jackets, bespoke suits, party shirts, leather shoes and work bags suddenly look so out of the place — both in the closet and in life. Do you remember when was the last time you made an effort to dress up to go out? Well, I don’t.
