In July of the same year, they created the Environmental Protection Agency, and robust environmental laws such as the Clean Water Act and the Endangered Species Act, among many.
We can make a huge difference by taking these smalls steps:
Enjoy Nature- The smallest and one of the most effective steps that can make a huge difference is to go and cherish and enjoy nature. Step outside of your house on this day and spend time in the open, in the natural environment cherishing the natural resources we have been gifted.
Recycling- A very simple yet neglected step. You can do this at home; you do not necessarily have to be in one of those fast cities to do this.
